Community

Rockatar Music Academy is a strong partner in the Tampa Bay community.  For over ten years, Rockatar has a proud tradition of giving back, by providing music education and music performance at community and organizational events.

Rockatar’s talented students perform at community events such as Children’s Gasparilla Parade, Highland Park Music Festival, The Great Westchase, Waterchase Concert Festival, Westchase Holiday Market, Westwood Lakes Spring Fling, in addition to other local area venues.

Rockatar supports charitable events throughout Tampa including Relay for Life, The Glazer Children’s Museum, Make A Wish Foundation, YMCA Healthy Kids Day at Curtis Hixon Park, YMCA of Northwest, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, Tamil USA Association, Metropolitan Ministries, Everday Blessings, Joshua House, Autism Speaks, Project Promise, Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA), Krewe of St. Brigit, and more.

Rockatar conducts Music Enrichment Programs throughout Hillsborough County Public Schools and HOST. These trademarked afterschool music programs build student’s confidence and self-esteem, while helping student’s experience the joy of playing music.
