Hello Rockatar Students and Parents!
Welcome to our Rockatar Music Academy – Summer Music Camp Program!
We are looking forward to helping your student to have an amazing and enriching music experience!
Please review the following important information about our Music Camp:
During the camp session week, please arrive at your convenience between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. We will have a snack time during each day of the weekly camp session. You are welcome to pack a snack or a lunch for your student. We have found that students often do better with a lunch/snack from home. We have a refrigerator in our kitchen for any lunch boxes and drinks that need refrigeration. Please let us know of any food allergies, and Rockatar is a peanut free zone, similar to many schools, due to students with peanut and tree nut allergies.
Drop off is anytime between 8:30 a,m. and 9:00 a.m. and pick up is anytime between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. We have a roster and a sign in/sign out sheet. At the end of each camp day, we release each student to their parent/care giver, and please let us know any helpful information regarding the pick up of your student. We understand that sometimes pick up may run a few minutes late. If you should be delayed, please be at ease that we stay with our students until all parents arrive, and our studio is open and staffed after the 1:00 p.m. pick up time, as we begin the afternoon music lessons.
Every student will have the opportunity to learn many different instruments, and to select a favorite instrument/vocal to play in their band during the exciting Friday Concert. Our students will also learn about different music styles, music history and music theory. The Friday Concert typically runs from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., separated into two show sessions. Please let us know if a certain time frame during the Friday Concert is most convenient for you, due to your work or family schedule. Our Rockatar students are welcome to dress in their favorite music/rocker look on the music performance day.
